In most situations knowing where to get the information is just as good as having it in your head.  Everything Take Shape For Life represents is about first getting you to a healthy weight quickly and then teaching the habits of health to keep it that way.  This week I’m going to list five powerful sources of knowledge and inspiration for your healthy journey.  Don’t go it alone!

 

  • Dr. A’s Habits of Health: The Path to Permanent Weight Control and Optimal Health.  Possibly one of the most important books you’ll ever read.  This isn’t a book of simple pep-talk nor is it a doom and gloom tirade on the evils of obesity.  Instead, Dr. Andersen teaches you how to design an overall strategy to accomplish one of the most important goals you will ever have: optimal health.  Live longer, have more energy and feel better.   • Your Health Coach:  That’s me.  My experience is extensive regarding our program.  I am a valuable resource.  Please continue reading my weekly emails.  Please also consider regular correspondence in times of need.  You should never feel alone while on your healthy journey and often just knowing that someone else out there knows your goals and is cheering for you will make all the difference.

  • Weekly Support Calls:  Did you know that every week there are three LIVE support calls?  Like I said, you should never feel “alone” while on your healthy journey.  There is strength in numbers!

    • Support in Motion website: Here, you can participate in discussion boards, chat rooms, and network with others.  It also allows you to interactively participate in your weight loss, transition, and maintenance programs.
